I think this has a lot of potential, I think its a great idea but there's often a huge jump between two levels. I often I wasn't sure whether to grade my student a 4 or a 5 for example. I think with a bit of tweaking and a little more detail it would be better. I did not receive any training that I can remember? I do however like that you can compare what you think about your student to what your student thinks about themselves. Hope this helps and good luck. I'll look forward to reading this! I personally really like this, for me it means that the students are being graded on their professionalism rather than just their practical skills. I've worked with students before that turn up whenever they want and do enough work to cover their NPL skills and that's about it, otherwise they are tardy, lazy and sometimes rude. when I learnt about it at the standardisation there was a group of CC's there that were saying that their students were guilting them into a pass on this tool but my view on it is that if they are not up to standard then they don't deserve the pass.
