we draw out of a hat - I have quite possibly copped for the most difficult person this year but hey ho .

a few previous gifts I have bought at various places -

re useable hand warmers - really handy for those working outside or having outside hobbies

- nurses fob watch,

a super duper reindeer pooper (it dispenses chocolate from its rear) which went down really well,

a life survival kit (I used to make these consists of a marble - for when you have lost yours, two pennies so you always have two to rub together, a candle (tealight) for those who have burnt theirs at both ends, a piece of rope (string) for when you have got to the end of yours, a crayon in case pens are not allowed, a coffee sachet because everything is better with caffeine, and a chocolate coin - not affected by inflation and enough to keep you sweet

Most of the Celia Haddon 'cat' series of books

a bottle opener and voucher for one of the wine shops (no point in me buying a bottle as I don't drink and no idea what is good or bad)

and others I can't remember or choose to forget - my gifts are a bit marmite - some like them some dont

We do the name in a hat & it is up to the buyer how much to spend. We do have a £10 suggestion but always go over especially if the resipient is well know to the buyer. I have had funny gifts as well as really nice personal things too. We tend to have a buffett lunch with all of us bringing food in and hand out the Secret Santa gift over a nice lunch.
