It does make me feel mean when he looks down at his bowl, sniffs it then walks away cos it's just biscuits! But i am more stubborn than him, and WILL win the battle!!! He gets 1-2 hours of walks a day, sometimes more at weekends and can't increase it in the week cos don't have times. He has been getting a bit less exercise than he normally would at the weekends with the warmer weather because he gets too hot and can only take him early and late, not in the day.

My dogs went through a stage of being fussy with their food but if you leave it long enough then they will eat it. Maybe I was being a bit mean but they soon got back onto it and now will eat it quite happily (even without the chappie ) I also found that increasing their exercise made them a lot more eager to eat when they were being fussy!

Oh dear hope you don't have too much trouble getting them back on to dry. My dog is on James Wellbeloved dry and has been since we got him 10 months ago but he's now getting fussy He's always had just biscuits for breakfast and then his biscuits with some of the meat/veg from our tea on top for his tea. He's now decided that he doesn't like his food on it's own! So am being very strict and not putting anything on top. Don't know how long it can go on for though...he's not eating his breakfast till tea time, so he's only eating one meal a day. We've been doing it for the past 4 days and he's not got any better Any suggestions for my stubborn mutt gratefully received! If he carries on this way i'll have to dry a diff brand of food i think...either Arden Grange or Burns i think.

My mum buys her dog a huge bag of Hills - then puts TESCO OWN BRAND MEAT in it. I mean of all the food, WHY?!?!?

When I was at uni I came back to find my mum soaking the dry food in gravy! Yeah that's really gonna help with their teeth!

A friend of mine came away with a classic today- says he soaks his dog food so it swells up so it means you dont need to feed as much..........

Mums are great!! Just when you think they're trained they go and change it all over again! At least Chappie is a better wet food than Pedigree or Butchers! Not enough in it to make it bad!!
