wouldn't make any difference to me I am on the same rate as our VCA's (our VCA's are on the kind of rate that a lot of qualified nurses dream of)

I have questioned for years what I actually get for my money? I pay my own too.

£330 for vets. I imagine most practices would cover the cost?

You won't be able to work as an RVN doing all the things we take for granted.

If I was your employer I wouldn't be happy if you failed to renew as I would be paying you an RVN salary and not being able to utilise you in that role. (might also be in your contract that you need to keep up with registration - which if you fail to do so could result in disciplinary action)
To be honest £67 isn't bad at all....The NMC (nursing and midwifery council) renewal fees are £120

Does your employer not pay? If you don't renew you will no longer be rvn so cannot do any schedule 3, including if catheters, meds etc so would just be like a kennel/care assistant. Not worth throwing your qualification away imo.
