I think the e-portfolio sounds like a great idea...I read about it in the VNJ. Would save so much paper, make it easier to compile, edit, track and assess. I am finishing off my Level 2 portfolio just now....I have to lug it about with me and get twitchy when it's out of my sight.

Hopefully I can use the e-portfolio next year but not heard anything about it yet officially so maybe I won't be using it.

not that this EVER happens,

but with the E portfolio would this ensure work is being done and signed off within the two week deadline?? rather than it waiting maybe a tiddly bit longer?

Although individual VNAC's can develop and use (with approval by RCVS) their own eportfolios, this is the one RCVS have been trialing, and are encouraging VNAC's to use.

You do your normal computer backups so it is also on your stic/drive whatever

They talked about it at the rcvs day and they said it was very popular as it was so accesable to everyone like assesors, verifyers etc no need to send things off they just had to log on and mark in their time and so loads less messing about.
