Has any one got any info on the E-portfolio? I'm due to start NVQ 2 in September and have been told that I will be using this instead of the paper based one.
I have searched the RCVS site and the old vet nurse forums but the links

Re: E- Portfolio

Thanks guys for the info have had a look on the link and it does look good so fingers crossed and I pass my ANA and I can start in september.

I am finishing off my Level 2 portfolio just now....I have to lug it about with me and get twitchy when it's out of my sight.

Hopefully I can use the e-portfolio next year but not heard anything about it yet officially so maybe I won't be using it.

Re: E- Portfolio

not that this EVER happens,

but with the E portfolio would this ensure work is being done and signed off within the two week deadline?? rather than it waiting maybe a tiddly bit longer?

Re: E- Portfolio

Although individual VNAC's can develop and use (with approval by RCVS) their own eportfolios, this is the one RCVS have been trialing, and are encouraging VNAC's to use.

Don't know much about this except for the article in the RCVS News that arrived this morning. Plumpton College have been trialling it though I think for the last year or so. Will be interesting to see how it turns out.

Thats all I've heard about it too.

What happens if the external server holding the e-portfolio went down? x

Re: E- Portfolio

They talked about it at the rcvs day and they said it was very popular as it was so accesable to everyone like assesors, verifyers etc no need to send things off they just had to log on and mark in their time and so loads less messing about.

Re: E- Portfolio

Don't know much about this except for the article in the RCVS News that arrived this morning.
