I am just looking for any advice and tips. If any UK qualified nurses have or know a nurse that has moved to Australia to work.
I am looking into moving out there but it all seems like a mind field and don't know where to start!

I am over here now working as a nurse...

I presume you would get a working holiday visa first? easy to find work - everywhere is desperate for locums and they love the UK trained nurses...being a locum now you would be in prime position.

Locations - big city's probably easier to find work, I am in Sydney and there is loads of work around.

Visas for permanent stays have changed though as I don't think vet nurse is any longer on the job list that leads to PR - however you could probably get a two year sponsorship visa if a company was willing to do that. If you find the right company you may be in luck!

Good luck!
