I am embarking on a mission to make our practice more environmentally conscious. We create an absurd amount of waste and it pains me everyday. Unfortunately, we appear to be using more and more disposable items so to counter balance this I would

RE: Environmentally friendly practice

[quote user="James Colver Cert.
I am glad that some people are beginning to think about the impact our industry has on the environment - here's another for folks to think about. When you are carefully segregating your clinical waste what actually happens to the orange bags or the 'tiger bags' that instead of being incinerated go for 'alternative' processing - or should I really say what will happen to them now that China has quite rightly said no more. I Guess India will cop for even more of the stuff? Don't let anybody kid you tiger bags are more environmentally friendly than incinerating - all it does is relocate the problem to another country in most cases.

RE: Environmentally friendly practice

James Colver Cert.
