Have applied to join that group.. wanting to do PSP to re-skill/re-register after 12 yrs out of profession being a single parent and finding it impossible to get p/t / family friendly hours .. had to completely re-train and work in totally different jobs.. waking up every day knowing that VN was my calling and need to get back to it now my daughter is older and 'a bit ' more responsible ! ;) Volunteering will be my first step back .. hopefully before Im 50 ill have 'RVN' next to my name again!

I run a facebook group specifically for vets and VNs to find volunteering opportunities both at home and overseas, there are loads of posts on there about different projects! Or if you don't see anything that takes your fancy you can post asking for suggestions specific to what you're looking for. thanks for the reply :) I locum full time so get to see a bit already but wanted to push myself and go somewhere on my own to help out. Ive looked up the WVS but a lot seem to be in asia which is a bit hard financially this year for me.

Any suggestions appreciated :)

Why not a week in the good old UK?! Lots of sanctuaries and charities desperate for a helping hand.. donkeys, ferrets, dogs of all kinds and cats up the ying yang and so on...

?? !!
