I hope you don't mind me posting on here.
I'm a final year diploma student.
I recently had a job interview - went amazingly well for both myself and the employer, however they decided not to offer me a position due to some candidates

RE: An Opportunity Missed?

I would pop them an email and say that your OSCEs have been re-scheduled to xxx date, and if they are still needing a nurse then ask them to keep your CV filed.

When you have completed your OSCEs, you have to wait 6 weeks for the results anyway. Sometimes an ideal opportunity does pass by, but there is always a chance you may get it again in the future, or an even better one :)

Good luck, how annoying to have your OSCEs cancelled because of the snow!

RE: An Opportunity Missed?

If the only issue was you not finishing your course yet, I would wait until you have your result and then if they are still advertising contact them. Just be honest and say that you felt like their practice would be a good fit for you and if they are still looking you are still interested.

Even if they still go with someone else at least you know that you tried, better to try and not get it than live with the niggle in your mind that you could have got it.
