The question is, are the ad's tracked, can stats be extracted to show uptake of advertised salary band jobs vs 'attractive salary' jobs?
Are we as nurses or students

RE: New ad's with salary stated

Really looking forward to the stats feedback Arlo, a first step in the right direction I am sure!

RE: New ad's with salary stated
Are we as nurses or students still responding to the attractive salary jobs? If we are, why?
When I was looking for my current role, I was considering these positions but it was usually because the practice had something else to offer me apart from "attractive salary". For example case load. I wanted to gain experience in fields I'd never really had much experience in before such as exotics or emergency work.

RE: New ad's with salary stated
Are we as nurses or students still responding to the attractive salary jobs? If we are, why? Surely if those types of ads were boycotted & only the ads offering a decent liveable wage were responded to, practices would get the idea?
Well, I don't think boycotting is the answer for a lot of reasons.

Apart from anything else, you'll never get everyone to boycott (I mean, if I found a job in my area and it looked good in every other respect, I wouldn't boycott it for failure to display the salary).

But also, there will be practices that have what they think is a good reason for not showing a salary, and actually, they ARE offering an 'attractive salary'!

I think it's better to do things by encouragement, rather than by penalising!
The question is, are the ad's tracked, can stats be extracted to show uptake of advertised salary band jobs vs 'attractive salary' jobs?
In a fairly basic way, yes, and I think that would be the far better way of encouraging advertisers - ie with evidence that it produces a better result. My plan is to wait until the jobs posted before we added the new feature expire, then compare performance of adverts that include salary vs those that don't. That could be very persuasive!
