&lt;p&gt;- SPVS median nurse salary (2015) was &amp;pound;21,350.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- The national average wage (all types of jobs, not just VN&amp;#39;s, in the country) is &amp;pound;27000 per annum.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Thing is though - what do YOU think you are worth and what can you bring to the practice to generate income? This might make you consider asking for&amp;nbsp;a higher figure than you are earning at the moment. Settle in, see how you go, do what you do and perhaps negotiate a raise at some point, if you think you can/should/it is appropriate for you and the practice.&lt;/p&gt;
