Hi, thank you for replying! We have a uni log in but for some reason, when we log in with it, it isn't giving us access to anything. Maybe it's down or something. It's really stressful though :( I am working in a practice, I will have to mention my problem to them and see if they do have a subscription! Thank you so much :)

Thank you for replying! We have a university log in, but whenever we log in with it to access journals it just doesn't work. The website must be done or something and our tutors aren't fixing it :(

Ahh thank you for replying! We have a university log in number but for some reason, when we log in it isn't letting us have any access to the journal! It must be down or something, but our tutors aren't fixing It! Stress lol. I've had a look at the rcvs library however and it looks great, so thank you very much for this :)

If you're at Napier, they definitely have university logins for lots of things, and CAW have physical copies in their library.

With some universities, you can request journals too!! Speak to your subject librarian and they will either be able to give you access to them online, or sometimes there's a funky inter-library loan that means you can get journals from other unis. If you're in practice or you're friendly with a practice see if they have a subscription!

I promise you University has journal access, you just need to find out how to access that. Go to the library and ask. They will possibly even keep printed journals too.

Edit, I've googled and go to "The Learning Centre". They claim to have physical journals. They also have "learning Advisor" who will help:

Based in the Learning Centres, Learning Advisors can support you in a number of ways, including:

- Helping to access resources – either in the LRC or online

- Helping with study skills, such as understanding assignments, searching for information and planning your work

- Providing study skills workshops such as time management, note taking and referencing

When I did my course we were given a university log in which allowed us to access most, or you could access from the library computers. If they don' provide this facility - I would ask - then I would get rcvs library membership - nurses get reduced rates and students may be less - this allows access to most journals.
