That's crap! Though a cynical part of me isn't entirely surprised ;) Do keep trying - for all of my class' bitching at the time I really enjoyed the degree, and I thought it gave a...wider perspective than the diploma? Not sure that's the right phrase...but we spent a lot of time looking at research and ethics, and doing a dissertation, though it made me stress-cry a few times, was a great experience. I'd encourage anyone to do it.

I did the full degree and not the top-up, but just as an aside, make sure you know your schedule! Things have probably changed since my year kicked up such a horrendous fuss, but course organisation wasn't always the best ;) Same as any course though I think!
