The encyclopaedias you get free with the course are great too. Some of the other nutrition books out there are a little out of date so when choosing look for more recent titles that don't recommend fasting patients with pancreatitis or syringe feeding for e.g!

Good luck with the course, I enjoyed it but did find the communication not the best and had to chase my assignment marks every time but overall it was definitely worth it and I've learnt loads

RE: Nutrition Books

I found Nutrition and Disease Management for Veterinary Technicians and Nurses by Ann Wortinger really helpful, also anything by Dr Daniel Chan he is just brilliant!!. You will also find lots of helpful articles on vet times and vnj. Good luck. I really enjoyed the course and found it so useful!
