This seems to be a really common area of failure, quite a few out of my class failed for this too. There's too much ambiguity with some of the OSCE tasks in my opinion

Thanks for the reply glad you passed it is so annoying as you pass all the other main areas and fail on something so silly which is not listed. I Presume I stood on the correct side being left side of the horse as the other side was the wall lol but will keep that in mind thanks.

Thanks for replying back holly for this task it didn't need to have that restraint i don't think but will keep in mind for the other tasks not to place under the foal.

Its been a long while since I took my OSCE's, but like you, I failed on this one. I still do not know to this day why I failed as I passed all of the equipment, knot things. I don't know now if it was because I was stood on the wrong side of the toy pony whilst holding the lead rope, so may be worth checking that one??

I passed 2nd time round but didn't have the same task, but good luck with your next attempt as im sure you will do well xx

It may be something to do with the "foal hug" with your knees facing forward not beneath the foal. just an idea
