will agree with Lavetnurse - I mentored/motivated/dragged kicking and screaming two through this course, there is a lot of work for the mentor. No experience of the Animal Jobs Direct course sorry.

Is the Animal Jobs Direct course good? I was originally looking at that one but i was rather put off when i emailed them to get more information on the course content and i got a very brief and unhelpful response. I was a little bit worried that it was a reflection on the course itself and the support given by the tutors!

Theres a lot of input from the practice required, its quite time consuming and effectively the practice needs to appoint a mentor/ clinical coach for you.

I did the same course through animal jobs direct instead as the onus is on you and theres only a few modules that need to be witnessed by a vn so could be done in the short time you are in the practice. Its also distance learning.
