Yudigest tablets, for anal glands

We had a lunch and learn recently and were told it's good for anal glands problems, but it doesn't really list it on the product itself. I'm presuming just because it firms stools up it can help. I'm skeptical about this claim for anal glands and wanted to know if anyone had any experience.

(We tend to use Profibre or Royal Canin Fibre Response for AG issues, we've had some great results with Fibre Response)

I didn't think they were indicated for this - we just use them for diarrhoea. We use fibor or pro fibre for anal gland problems.

they made no difference whatsoever with my dog! Great for diarrhoea though

i trialled them on my own dog. I usually need to clear his anal glands monthly. The Yudigest didn't help & they still needed doing after a month. I didn't trial them for any longer so not sure if they would have worked if used more long term
