First you need to find a Training Practice, where you will work and train on the job. When you become a student vet nurse you will enroll in college and go one day a week (or similar) to learn the theory, while learning the practical aspects at your practice.

Many practices will take on Animal nursing assistants or similar, with a view to training them later, so my advice would be to apply for an animal care assistant/nurse assistant job and ask them at the outset about prospects for training as a VN (it's usual to have to work a few months before you start your training, as a bit of experience is useful first).
