&lt;p&gt;you definitely should be getting a better hourly rate for working nights given the unsociable nature of night work and the effect it has on your body. You could ask the person you&amp;#39;ve applied to to give you an idea of the salary on offer. Nights are hard so make sure you get paid fairly for them!&lt;/p&gt;
