Yes I used the tried & trusted method of asking my friend her log in name!!

If members elect not to display their real name, they cannot be found using the 'find colleagues' search page. This is to preserve anonymity.

In that case, if there is someone you know is on the site, best thing is to ask them what their username is. Then visit the site, click your profile, and look at the url in your browser, which will look something like:

http://www.vetnurse.co.uk/members/USERNAME/default.aspx

(USERNAME in that URL will be your username).

Replace USERNAME with the username of your friend, and their profile will display. You can then invite them to be a colleague, or send a message.

Bit complicated, but we might develop a way round this in the future ...

I've had this problem too, but I thought I was just being daft! Glad to hear someone else is having this problem!! Sorry I can't be any help at all though!!

Their log in name might be different? I think you can have a couple of different names, if you're wanting to add them to your colleagues list it might be easier to have them add you instead.
