Check out Carly on Big Bro the weeeee Fifer!!! I might have to put on the subtitles in a mo or even get the walking translator to tell me what she going on, althou I can follow her currently as I picked up a lot over the years

Ok true...i'm from Hampshire so i suppose we get some of the Hampshire Hogs! But being that i'm on the edge of the town rather than in the country don't really see/hear them often! I was walking along the seafront in Devon on holiday a couple of years ago and came face to face with a Vicky Pollard...very hard to keep a straight face haha! I tried not to look for fear of being punched lol!

I'm a geordie but we dont really have any interesting dialects, my boyfriend doesnt understand half my friends when they talk or when we get together as we talk really fast. lol

When I locummed in Surrey, one of the receptionists was saying I was a really broad northerner lol I didnt even think I had an accent!?

If you go an hour in any direction from here the accents are all different- quite interesting really.

I know, it is amazing!! I live 40 miles from where I work now and even some of the sayings there I dont understand!!

Paula, I bet you have some brilliant Irish sayings too. I love different sayings/dialects. Amazing how language and accent changes depending on where you are in the country.
