Good News :D They finally got back to me and ive got the work experience placement :D

I day a week :D its the first step of what will no doubt be a very very long journey but i couldnt be more excited to be given this opportunity :D xxx

Thanks :) I've had all the ones I was meant to have as a child and from looking online it does look like I'm pretty much covered. I'm not exactly a fan of needles so if it's n actually needed I'd rather not have it until i do need it! Lol

I haven't heard anything of them yet :( I'm not sure how long it usually takes to check references, I've never actually had anywhere check them before.

Im tempted to give them a call just to make sure he received my email and doesn't need anything else from me, but I also don't want to nag if he's busy :/

my doctor said the same, no need for tetanus if I've had 3 boosters so far

It went well, I think! They basically said they just need to get my references back and as long as they come back fine then I can start :)

They showed me around and explained to me what i would be doing, where things are kept, how to do bloods etc it was really interesting. They understand my work pattern and that the day im available can vary slightly from week to week and they didnt seem to have a problem with that.

I am a little bit confused about my tetanus though! The vets said i need to have a booster every 10 years but I rang the doctors and they said my last booster was in 2006 but that i dont need to have another one until i get bite or scratch and then they will give me one. So now i have no idea if i need one or not!

I think it's great!

It appears truthful and to the point (none of the usual nonsense about 'being able to work on your own or as part of a team' etc etc)
