Write to them and ask if you could do a voluntary day on a saturday or similar and explain about the course. Write to other practices and animal rescue centres too.

Im going to start looking for work experience in the new year and hopefully i can find somewhere i can go 1 day a week, although alot of vets around here seem to be advertising there work experience as just a 1 week block :(

I reallllly wish i could do it at my usual vets, they are awesome but their website says 1 week blocks too, although my plan is to get some experience at other places first and then speak to them see if they would consider it. They do know me pretty well, I spend half my time in there thanks to my mischief of 11 troublesome little rats lol <3

Not for animal jobs direct. You could do work experience in a vets or animal shelter for the practical units. For the anaesthesia module they want you to get vets to answer the questionnaire by going to different surgeries and asking for it to be filled in.

I do work in a vets but my vets at work thought it was a stupid questionnaire and no point so wouldnt do it so I got my pony's vet who is a professor in a referral only equine hospital at a vet school to fill it in for me and it was accepted.

you do as your case logs have to be signed off by a vet and some an RVN.

It does say voluntary work is acceptable, but doesn't seem to say how many hours.

Do you know how many hours a week in a veterinary practice the course requires? I cant see anything on there that specifies how many in practice hours i would need (I currently work full time, so it would have to be voluntary, but luckily i work on a rota and have 1 or 2 days off in the week each week)

The ANA qualification is a good one and becoming a lot more recognised in the veterinary industry. You can even get locum work now as a qualified Animall Nursing Assistant
