Also when the client registers the chip with their info they also enter our vet code - which also confirms we implanted it. I agree they can sometimes be the difference on whether you can find an owner or not. What chips do you use? Maybe contact the company and ask about the tracking of their chips - can they track who they were sold to?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I thought with the new legislation there was meant to be one database but as it is it is a total nightmare with some very dodgy companies including ones where you can just pay and update online without anyone checking with the previous owner that their pet isn&amp;#39;t stolen!! The government needs to sort this out as it can be so hard to try and track down which database some of these chips are with and if there is one central database the fee can then be standardised and fair.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
