Figures not exact as I did it a few years ago and Telford not all that good at student support so if you do enrol then you've got to be pretty much self sufficient.

Re: Nutrition courses

course and vice versa?!?!

Re: Nutrition courses

lol if you find out before me can u let me know?!?!

The VHA is more of a marketing tool where you can implement food sales to generate revenue for the practice. The weekend I went on was fab (apart from the gob shite I was sat next to but thats another story) they covered most of the food types, how and when to sell, we had a talk on companion animal loss by a really good speaker (whos name escapes me... doh) we got given a huge goodie bag with lots of useful things to use in and out of practice.

So well worth doing, you have to take an optional exam at the end which you do at home and if you pass you get a certificate to say that your a VHA and if you get the highes marks then you get a special prez. You are invited back each year for a reunion, but I never go as they are miles away.

Hope this helps

Re: Nutrition courses

Hi Kezza

Once you've done that little lot you can enrol for the year long Certificate in Small Animal Nutrition (distance learning again through Edinburgh's Telford college).
