Hi - we use a product called Videne in practice, its available through Centaur services

Dear valued customer, As you may be aware, from the 1st September 2016, products containing povidone iodine can no longer be supplied into any EU market unless they have a registration under the Biocide Products Regulations or a Pharmaceutical Licence (Human or Veterinary).

That explains why vetasept isn't available, Trying to get hold of Videne Antiseptic Solution, waiting for NVS to phone back with info as its a special.

should on use iodine solution, not lathering scrub for eyes. so i was told.

Try Centaur - I had a similar problem back in 2014 but that was switching from Betadine to Vetasept... see how you go!
