 not been on here for a while, been mega busy. Looking for some advice, I&amp;#39;m doing some odd days locus work and I have quite a few days booked in and its not through an agency. If it&amp;#39;s just some odd locum work on top of a PAYE job, you can just fill in a tax return and there is a section about other income and you just fill that bit with your extra earnings. Then hmrc will work out your tax. If it&amp;#39;s not much they&amp;#39;ll take it through your earnings the following year but it is worth putting a percentage by to cover the earnings. If you&amp;#39;re only locuming, I found it worth paying an accountant as they know what to claim for to make the most of it all. Even if you do this once so the next year you know what to claim for.
