thanks for reply, I will contact then this week.

Course contact would be fab if you don't mind as I also work full time and have two children so time is quite difficult.

I would love to see what I have to do just so that i can see if it's achievable.

Did you have to do any exams and were they difficult ? I hate exams lol

thanks

I did my DipAVN with Myerscough also, the weekend lectures were great and really well thought out. The course content is well constructed with very easy access to it at all times online. I also think a bonus is the fact it gives you the DipHECVN qualification as well as the DipAVN. It was tough and working full time was very hard, I did struggle with stress and mental health. looking back now I never should have done it whilst working full time but well worth the effort. If you have any specific questions on the course or want to take a look at some of the course content drop me a message.

hope that helped

I am starting a top up degree in just a few weeks. I am from N.Ireland and have been able to do it with a college in the south of Ireland for half the price of the DipAVN and have been able to avail of a student living allowance grant to cover the cost of the fees. This was possible because when I did my NVQ my practice paid for everything so I didn't need any help from the local education board. Although I heard last week that in England these grants were being phased out. The course I am going to do is full time but because I Prior Learning I do not have to got on placement which the other students have to do. So I am out of practice for a total of 3mths ( 2x 6weeks blocks) in a year. I am using 4 weeks of my holidays this year (2016) and 4 weeks next year (2017).

Hope this helps!

Really enjoying it. There are assignments for each module. Some modules also have exams with them, depends on the module/credit size. There are weekend study days that are put on for each module - you can decide if you want to attend, definitely worth it for applied physiology.

I have got a student loan for mine.

Really worth speaking to Susan Howarth the course manager - she will send you all the information and she's lovely.

Is it assignment based and do you have to attend courses? Will there be exams? I want to do it as I've just finished my cert ecc and looking for something else now.
Will you be looking at topping it up to a degree afterwards? I'm loving the course so far (I'm in my first year). It does require at lot of time dedicated to it. I work full time and sometimes I do struggle to fit all the work in. Its all about organising yourself.

At Harper you can pay per module. I think its about £800 per 20 credit module. You can take your time with studying, either try get it done as quick or as slow as you like. I think you can take up to 5 years. My boss is contributing towards the cost of the diploma which is certainly helping :)

Let me know if you have any questions
