I emailed a very angry email to the local beat office, stating the dog act and used my RVN at the end of the email, I also emailed the borough and parish council a very similar email. I had a response very quickly from the police inspector and the matter was investigated.

So I would advise sending a email to the local beat officer stressing your concern and use the 'what if it was a child' line (i did), also email the council and it should make it to the dog warden. I think the police should still do something, even though your not the victim, as the dog was dangerously out of control in a public area! if you want all out war, theres always the local newspaper!

Good luck
