I would like a bit of advise if possible, which is hard without me going in to too much detail on an anonymous account. But any help would be much appreciative, or if anyone has had a similar quandary and what you ended up doing.

good luck

RE: Job help

While I can't speak for you personally, I have always been of the opinion if you're not happy then move on....I currently work in referral and we have a number of nurses that worked in the PDSA and RSPCA previously so working for a charity won't prevent you getting a job in referral in the future.

If you want to work with equine then it might be worth contacting the practice to see if there is scope to work as a nurse within the technician role.....nothing to lose.

I suppose you will just have to write all the pros and cons of everything down to see what you feel most passionate for :D
