Was longer than that she contacted me. It is just l havent logged on for some time probably over a month and as l had cancelled all notificatons a couple of years ago l havent of course been notified.

It was non specific it (she) said they would be able to get me work and paid £1more than any other agency so l needed to sign up to them. "It" didn't do it's homework as l work under my own ltd company and deal with all of that side myself had it done a search on my past posts that would have been obvious.

Any more done without a specific job and as per the spammer l will let you know.

Hi Caro, you're referring to someone contacting you from the locum map.

To be fair, I didn't at first specify the rules for locum agencies, so if she contacted you more than, I dunno, about 5 days ago, then not her fault.

But I have since made the rule that agencies are NOT, EVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, allowed to contact locums on the map EXCEPT if they have a specific, bona fide piece of work that meets the stated requirements displayed by the locum they are contacting (ie work radius and any availability they set in their profile).

For that reason (and to make it clear to practices what you offer), I do ask all locums to go to their profile and complete their 'summary' with a short description of the locum service they offer. That is then displayed on the card that appears on the map.

If a recruitment agency makes an unsolicited approach to you which is NOT about a specific job they are trying to fill, let me know and I may remove their account.
