The agencies box is a very good idea- I'm already getting offered 'help' with my locum search. I think I will send my cv personally to interested parties rather than post it though as it contains personal info.

Great to see so many flags appearing on the map - because the more there are, the more I hope practice managers will find it a really useful resource.

Well, yes, either PM or you can put contact details in your profile (either in the summary profile, which appears on the card or the main biog/cv). They are only visible to logged in members. I have a rule that any recruitment agency that makes unsolicited approaches to people will have their account removed if I get complaints about their behaviour.

But yes, that's rather a good idea, to have a flag saying 'I do / do not want to be contacted by agencies', because I guess some people do.

Excellent idea! Love it.

I'm assuming that practices pm the locum to make contact - will there be a tick box of some sort to say if you want to be contacted by agencies, as I can see pm boxes filling up with speculative contact from agencies! (not a bad thing if you want it, but mighty annoying if you don't!).

Very excited to see what other plans there are for the website

Brilliant, our very first VetNurse Locum Map entry. Glad you like it, Sam. And there are a lot more ideas where that came from.

Very exciting time here at VetNurse Towers, because now that practices are paying a (small) amount to advertise in the main job section, we can afford to invest a lot more into stuff like this.
