Is there any runners on here?
I've signed up to run a half marathon however I dont run, so training started tonight, I ran 2 miles, I stopped half way for about 1minute as I had a stitch, It was hard work, I'm not going to lie, I'm seriously

Re: Running

Thanks guys

I wont take the credit for running a marathon, its a mere half marathon, 13.1 miles, feeling all 2miles I ran last night also, incredibly unfit but seriously determined. off to buy an iPod to distract me whilst running, I've always hated running but found it quite therapeutic last night...I may have even convinced our fabulous receptionist at work to join me too on my mad 13.1 mile conquest lol

Please PM me if anyone is feeling generous and would like to sponsor me and donate money to the Blue Cross x

Re: Running

You MAD person!! Running! I'm reading it at the moment and he has inspired me to start a training program. He covers all the diet stuff, training, stretching, running gadgets (such as heart rate monitors) as well as specific advice for marathon training. By the way, congrats on entering a half-marathon.Hope you do well in it

Re: Running

Thanks guys, I can feel the pain in my legs already, NOT looking forward to the pain tomorrow
