aaah - I was just thinking of the technicalities of the passports, not the diseases as well!

So perhaps a forum called Travelling Animals:

(covering everything to do with travelling pets, such as passports / diseases / care)

Thanks Selena, I'll make a list and then we can all pick from it (I think we should start off with a maximum of 4 or 5, and they need to be 'big' subjects about which there are likely to be plenty of questions (posts) and ongoing discussion. Pain management sounds good. Perhaps pet passport is a bit niche and might just the sort of thing people occasionally ask questions about in 'Life in Practice'.

I very much hope so. I'd like to get these forums really humming again! Particularly in driving the sharing of knowledge and experience, which I think has become even more valuable as the profession has evolved and developed.

Hi Sal,

Yes. What makes a practice tick is really under the 'occupational group', but I'm struggling to think what it might be called. Self care likewise.

Sounds like an excellent idea and one which should prove very useful to all current users and I would expect it to attract more users of the site

Once again, another great useful feature to look forward to!
Perhaps Laboratory Diagnostics (microbiology, haematology evaluation, cytology for ears, urine,etc), wildlife care/emergencies/experiences and maybe Emergency Critical Care?

Hope these may be useful food for thought
