I'm considering doing the course but wondering how difficult the coursework is. The website says the course needs about 5.5 hours of study per week

RE: VNCertECC example of questions

Thank you, that's very helpful. It does sound like a lot of work, but it's the sort of thing that would interest me! It seems unfair that you only get 30hours recognised cpd though, compared to the actual work you put in. Will have a bit more of a think about it......

RE: VNCertECC example of questions

Hi!

I'm currently doing the CERT VN ECC and i have found that i'm spendig roughly 10 hours a week on it. It takes time to gather information and articles for the essays and it takes time to write them up. The Units each have 3 assignements and you have 9 weeks to complete a unit. So approximately 2 weeks per assignment. Time does fly, but its very interesting and i'm enjoying it :) The first assignment i did was one based on Triage and CPR. They asked how to conduct phone triage and what information to get from and give to the owner, how to transport emergency patients and how to perform an initial triage when the patient arrives and discuss possible abnormalities. This patient was a canine in respiratory distress with ongoing heart problems. This is just what i can remember off the top of my head :) Hope any of this helps!
