try vet direct or eickemeyer for the cheapest - but honestly for what they are they are expensive

My first boss had a piece of plywood with appropriately situated holes, he then put 4 x 5L bottles filled with sand lying down on their sides in each corner of the consult table and put the ply on top of these (and the patient on top of the ply) and it was easy to get his hand through the gap between table and ply and probe upwards through the openings. Always interesting if the 50kg rottie decided to wriggle but I'm sure you could make something more secure? It only has to be as big as the existing table top!

I priced one up about 5 - 6 yrs ago - for the amount of use we would get out of it the price was extortionate - we made our own. will look out where I found them for you
