Hi guys and gals

For those few of you who have had problems with RIG, they are registered to the REC. Someone on here was asking about where to complain to.....now you have your answer!!

My mum said the only organisation is the Employment and Recruitment Confederation (REC) who you should be able to find quite easily on google. My mum said this is optional so they are possibly unlikely to be members but it is worth contacting them to ask who they would suggest you contact or they may just give you some advice yourself as she has always found them very helpful in legal matters (although she was a member!) They will probably be happy then to have another thing to look at anything to help strengthern their case and data protection is rather a hot subject at the moment ermm as is being an honest mp, well looking for an honest mp

If records are being falsified then l wopuld look at the police being involved and the data protection act being invoked.

I cant go into a lot of detail but the problems mainly are to do with falsifyimg records.

Dippy if you could find out some info for me it would be greatly appreciated.

Does your query relate to problems you are having with one in particular? There is anassociation for recruitment agencies in general but not sure if it's compulsoray to be a member. I can find out for you though as my mum was in recruitment for 30yrs before she retired last year. I'd actually be interested to know as I am now being harrassed by Rig about three times a day, despite me telling them in no uncertain terms that I was NOT and NEVER will be interested and insisting I must be taken off their books. Today I have had 2 messages and 4 texts and am getting thoroughly p'd off with it as it's every day!

If there is money involved and they are not doing it correct you may find speaking to tax office and or trading standards may be a help.
