&lt;p&gt;We use the JAK ones as described above, they do not have an audible noise when out of range but the red light does flash, so pretty easy to see if you have a problem. Have found that the software is pretty straight forward and battery life isn&amp;#39;t too bad either.&lt;/p&gt;
