I recently qualified and did my placement un paid but it possible depends on the college so as others have suggested, speaking to your college would be a good place to start. Good luck with everything.

when are you next in college? - speak to somebody there I have no doubt they will have come across this before and will be able to advise you. its too long since I qualified for me to be able to advise you on training options now but I am sure the college will be able to help you

Thanks for the reply Jo. I'm only in my first year! No one can help unfortunately, the bosses don't care about staff problems :-(

Hi, sorry to hear you're not enjoying where you work, it's not a nice feeling. Its been a while since i did my training so im afraid i cant help much but im sure lots of other nurses will know what you can do. How long have you got left until you qualify? I was in the same situation and dreaded going to work everyday but as it was so hard to find another training practice i just made the decision to put up with it until I qualified. It was very hard and i did leave the month after I qualified!! Is there anyone you could talk to at work to see if there are any changes that could make you happier there?
