If this is your IV asking then I would suggest you follow the correct support network for any NVQ student: firstly speak to your assessor and explain what deadline your need your work back by ( this deadline should have been agreed at each weekly tutorial that you should be having with your assessor when she/he gives you feedback about your work) if you have no joy with your assessor then any NVQ student should then approach their IV for support and to explain you are having difficulties and why. regarding your boss situation- how approachable are they? - you should with confidence be able to say why your portfolio is not complete and that you have worked to get this done. maybe your assessor isnt being given enought ime at work to perform her assessor duties very well? and your boss needs to look at this also.

to help you for the future I would ensure you have structured tutorials and target dates are set for both yourself and your assessor when both sides of the work needs rto be completed by.

I wish you luck
