Ed, RVN</dc:creator><description>&lt;p&gt;There is also a formula you can use to work out ME of dog food &amp;ndash; ME (in kcal per 100g) = (3.5 x protein content) + (8.5 x fat content) + (3.5 x carbohydrate content)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Using this, I calculated the ME of this food (using the product info online) to be ~75kcal per 100g of the food (or 0.75kcal per gram)&lt;/p&gt;
