I can't claim to speak for MYF (I worked for CAW for 4 years until this January) but for CAW that was certainly a reasonable timeframe, if not a little sooner. Honestly if there were longer times it was because a practice hadn't actioned something (usually paperwork, or some evidence of training or something like that.) CAW's got a centre in Potters Bar if that's of any use?

@Mark Thank you. We're London based and work with MYF so hopefully shouldn't take too long. Is 6-8 weeks all-in-all realistic?

What college are you going with, and where are you located? Unless you're in an unusual location or in the middle of Christmas break you should usually get a visit within a few weeks.

@welshynurse. Thank you :) Appreciate all colleges are different but did you get a visit fairly quickly. How easy did you find all the paperwork to complete (I've never done it before but we're thinking about it for one of our smaller sister practices)

We contacted the college, arranged a visit and they told us the same day that we had been approved. Few weeks to get your training practice number but you can start employing students straight away
