Best mascara i've found for not budging is Bourjois Clubbing, it's amazing, also gives good volume as I have stumpy lashes without it!! I woke up in Amsterdam this morning after having slept with my head in a pillow and it was still there!

I got told (by a doctor) that we (as in mascara wearers) are shockingly bad for not replacing old for new makeup regularly enough. Mascara, especially, becomes a hive of bacteria etc and ideally it should be replaced every 3 months or so.... can work out expensive I know, but when you start thinking about a good medium for growing bacteria in, your mascara container fits the bill pretty well!!!

And we, as vet nurses should know better!!

Saying that, I try to replace that often, but I forget etc... in fact mine is due now! or a few months ago..................

I do replace my mascara every few months. but This is a pot of fluid that has dropper on the end of it so I just drip it onto the brushes so hopeully nothing is introduced into it, I do replace the brushes regularly too.

Make up really is too expensive!

The new Clinque one is nice and paraben free. It's the waterproof one that only washes off with warm water, cold water or sweat doesn't phase it. Plus when you do go to wash it off it's flakes off and doesn't turn your eyes black.

Im not a make up fan or particularly girly but I do like a bit of mascara. I think it makes me look slightly less like a mole thats seeing daylight- or maybe its psychological.

I have something called she-laq, its by benefit, its about £20 a pot but it lasts ages, I have had mine for 2 yrs! anyway its not a mascara its a make up seal, it comes with a llittle brush set which are mascara eyeshadow eyeliner and lipsyou put a thin layer over your eyeshadow mascara lipstick whatever really and it stops it from moving completely! I swear by the stuff as my eyeshadow and mascara slips as soon as it is on, it takes about 2 mins to dry fully, I usually shut my eyes or put my head back and look down while waiting for it to dry and once it is you can feel it at all and the make up looks exactly the same! I love this stuff.

I think I'm more concious as the only make up I wear is mascara and occassionaly eyeshadow and lippy if I go out............

LOL! It takes a while to get used to it, but its more obvious to you than others!! I thought i looked permanently surprised when I used eyelash curlers, have since learnt i don't need them and to stear clear!!

Think I know what the false lash effect is but not really sure... I've done it for ages as when I put mascara on the bottom I think I look like Aunt Sally from Worzel Gummidge!!!!!!!

I do - however if you use black mascara on just the top lashes it gives a false lash effect! ;-)

Bourjois clubbing mascara. Amazing stuff, it stays on and I mean stays on, and u get a lot in the tube too! Swear by it and I have about 7 different mascaras (for different things of course) and bourjois is the one that stays put!

Clinique my favourite and the best I have tried, no panda eyes with it, expensive but worth it.
