There used to be a facility on this site where you could advertise your availability as a nurse or place a position wanted post. It seems to now only be actual businesses that can do it.
Hi, There used to be a facility on this site where you could advertise your availability as a nurse or place a position wanted post. It seems to now only be actual businesses that can do it. I want to advertise my locum services without the help of "agencies" but not sure where its best to do it now. I worked with agencies for a little while but would like to give something else a go. Do you folks have any ideas on where I could place an independent advert that will be seen. Any ideas would be very welcome. Jillvn

thats a shame if its gone and you can't advertise on here now I remember the ad I put on here got me loads of enquiries - some of them several years after I placed the ad

RE: Advertising as a locum nurse

Hi,
Thats the part of the problem, I really do not mind where I go. As a result of that I just thought it would be quicker if I posted the add and waited for replies. I guess its going to a case of deciding on an area or two and then start e mailing. Its good to know practices respond to that. Thanks very much

RE: Advertising as a locum nurse

hi

Where abouts are you looking to work? (area?)

I am a locum in London and I just emailed a whole load of practices myself and have had work constantly for about 7 months now.. I don't use agencies at all.

RE: Advertising as a locum nurse

Ok, I will have a look at the site, Ive seen it but never really used it.
