Well I hope things settle down. It's such a hard thing to go through. My divorce was reasonably amicable as they go (no kids or property involved at the time) and that was traumatic enough so I can't begin to imagine how it must be for you, but have been thinking about you. Stay positive. x

Yes, the is absolutely gorgeous! I am sure you cant wait. Glad you have something positive to focus your mind on.

Had a look at the website of our local crem but dont see anything like that on it. May just do a search and find something that way. I will have a look at that site you mentioned.

Aw, I'm just taking it day by day, I have work, the boys and animals to focus on and keep me busy. Not much else I can do! xxx

I'm good thanks. House has seemed very empty for a while, hence the new arrival shortly (who I know you've seen!) but am so excited about him that it's taken the bad feelings away. Am hoping to have a go at mini agility with him (wanted to do it with my last dog but he was so unbelievably clumsy and out of proportion - think big dog on Corgi legs - that he just mowed through everything or fell off it!)

I just looked on the Elysian Feilds website and not all of their memorial bits are on there but they do a gorgeous "pebble" with inscription on it as well as all the usual stuff. You could ask them for a leaflet although am sure your practice's crem probably do similar?

How are things with you?

I don't personally know of any animal charities who do them (although someone else may) but most of the crematoriums who practices use will do plaques or stones without having done the crem (I have ordered them retrospectively myself and ordered one from another vets who didn't do one of the crems as the one we used at the time didn't do what I wanted). Are you wanting something for the garden or home, and what type of thing? I know Elysian Fields in York do some lovely garden stones/pebbles etc and Rossendale do plaques. Think most of them will if you ask. Good luck finding something you like. You could always make a small donation to an animal charity seperately although it does make things more expensive but you could do it later on. x

I want to get a memorial plaque/stone and dedicate to all my pets gone before me. Do you know of any reputable companies who do this?

Ideally, I would like an animal charity to benefit - are there any animal charities out there that do such things?

Hi all,

just bringing this to the top again for a few reasons.

Lots of thanks to Emma Kerry for giving me the link for White Angels, I ordered some yesterday online and am looking forward to planting them for Sammy.

I feel now that I can finally look at the link Carolyn sent to me for Rainbow Bridge - I'm off to do that now.

I am wondering when the 3rd devasting thing is going to occur for me, first, I lost my beautiful Sammy, now my marriage has ended - I just hope this is the last of my bad luck for a long time.

Thank you for that lovely post. I am at work today as normal and we are not crazy busy, which is a good thing for me lol! I am actually not too bad today once I got here, good to get out of the house and all that.

I think I have just answered your question Faye lol!

I have so much stuff to get on top of this week as I done absolutely nothing all weekend so that will keep me busy in the evenings too which can only be a good thing.
