We had a human theatre nurse pop-in today to donate a large bag of unused suture material - however its OOD so unfortuantely we cant utilise it. Does anyone know of any charities that would like a nice freebie instead?
Thanks, Vicki

RE: donating OOD suture materials to a charity

i volunteered with IAPWA for a few months, all suture was greatly appreciated, NHS would be good as swaged, on the reel wasn't great as there was a limit supply of needles (no commonly donated)

RE: donating OOD suture materials to a charity

Depends on how out of type, size, date (its not about being picky but you'd be surprised how many open, half used or years OOD stuff people send you, can't blame people for trying to help but it has to meet the need). All TNR programmes are calling out for absorbable dog spay sized materials, Dog Star will happily take them.

RE: donating OOD suture materials to a charity

James Colver Cert.
