&lt;p&gt;I got a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a card, and I have only been there a few weeks but I know I have made new friends and aquaintances for life.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I had a couple of practices very much like this when I locumed and I miss the people I worked with in them, even though I have a lovely permanent job now where I am really happy.
