STRVN- I have my name in scroll writing on my wrist.. to be honest it was the least painfull for me.. n over in 10 seconds i cant remember it hurtin.. i need it touching up tho coz i got a nice cat scratch down the S and its scarred a bit..

Go 4 it.. its a nice place n not on show n u can cover it up with braclets 2.. xx

I got the tat on the top of my arm to cover scarring, as I would not wear vest type tops because of the scars, but now because of the tatoo, I wear them all the time

this is Hubbys latest tat, you cant really make it out from the pics, but it's a dragon draped round his arm, its so cool

My partner has them on both arms. Mainly traditional ones but a really cool tribal one as well. He gets some strange looks sometimes as some people still judge by what they see not who they meet. I get reactions too. Its weird how people will look at my front shoulder piece but then avert their eyes at the large scar on my other shoulder. There is nothing as strange as folk.

Some of the fonts they have are really good and writing can look great. I have one on my ankle, thigh, 4 on my lower back making up one design, one on back of left shoulder and two on front of shoulder making up another design. They are very addictive.

I have 3 already, just not on show all the time, I have one on top of forearm, one midle of my back and one bottom of my back,. I do like them, and just wanted something that reperesents my kids, so thought of the inside wrist.

Cant see one on the wrist being any more painful than ankle. I have 9 tattoos. Definately bitten by the tattoo god. Im planning one accross my shoulders now to celebrate my level 3. My level 2 tattoo is lovely. Think about one on the wrist though as it wont be easily covered up and may not be quite as attractive when an old biddy.

I got one done when I had just come back from Turkey, its on my side, but It was really sore, I think I still had a bit of sunburn!!!! Its a lot smaller than it should be, I was a total wimp haha

I've not heard that but I do know there is a black henna that can cause serious skin allergies and scarring.

With regards henna l have been told and there was a discussion a few years ago that started when l said that l had heard that having had a henna tattoo you could have an anaphalctic reation to l think hair dye. Was a time ago and the memory of the info is fading now anyone able to update and confirm my delusionary brain cell.

I'm currently planning a couple of tatts. One for the babies that I've just lost and my grandparents who died recently. Another one showing a thistle and some ferns. They will all go in strategic places like the one on my thigh so that I can hide them should I want to.

I had one of those henna tatts last year on my forearm, a bit like an archery gauntlet. I did like it but by the time it wore off I realised that I couldn't have such a large tattoo in such a public place. I felt like a navy.

I am always very careful about where I have my tattoos, I always make sure that there are in a placfe that can be covered while at work but then when I want to show them off I can do, I had my first one 9 yrs ago now and its a tiger on my upper right arm, so only shows if I roll my sleeve up, my other one is a butterfly which I had about 4 yrs ago and thats on my left shoulder.

Where I am now we are asked (politely) that if we consider having tattoos that there should be placed in discrete areas ie that can be covered by uniforms.
