Only the RCVS had a kennel cleaning task. C&G don't have that task at last check.

I always felt there should be a set number of questions for each system to fairly test knowledge.

it is ridiculous and I will be raising this elsewhere. It might be a long time since I took the exam but ....

Yes of using it was the tiibia/fibula one got into the way grid so put it on automatically when it was not needed ;( we don't use grids at practice

I'm sure all X-rays on Osce stations needed grids as there a German shepherded apart from the tib/fib. City and guilds 2015 Osce.

with regards to grids just remember 10cm plus tissue thickness use a grid

I got no X-rays in my 1st attempt but I got a minimum of 1 for each topic for my 2nd attempt.

how is this a fair evaluation of skills - great if you are good in one section but it could equally have reduced somebody's chances of passing if they had ended up with tasks from the one section that they were weak on and had no chance to demonstrate their skills in another area. I really do think this needs looking at urgently ie is this one of the reasons there are so many resits?

sorry but I dont see how having tasks out of one section and non out of the others is an fair evaluation of skills - and no disrespect to anybody who sat the exam. There is something very wrong here

It tends to vary, I passed mine on my 2nd attempt and some stations I got the same as my 1st attempt but some I'd never had before. Just remember to think and breathe, I failed my 1st one for silly little mistakes that I wouldn't even normally do.
