Nights out can help so hopefully from tomorrow seing everyone in a less informal setting may help to get to know everybody. I used to work at a branch but worked shifts at the hospital, and it took a while to get to know people there and not feel like an outsider. The Head Nurse there organised a weekend away for all the nurses which I went to and it really helped!

However if you're having some doubts regarding the practice overall perhaps it will be time to move on. It certainly won't look bad on your CV, and you could explain to potential employers how this practice has built up different skills and interests that you've gained since qualifying. I don't see why having a dog would hinder any chance of you finding work as many still offer accommodation I believe that may accept pets?

Hope you sort things out soon.

Re: Decisions, decisions!!!

Yeah we're all going out tomorrow night for a leaving party for one of the vets : (

Re: Decisions, decisions!!!

It certainly won't look bad if you don't stay the full contract, as people move around practices often. Maybe ask your bosses if you can spend more time the hospital, to increase your contact with the other nurses. Certainly if the place is getting you down then speak to someone before you end up resenting the place. See if you can swap sokme shifts or maybe oprganise a practice night out to try to get know the others

Re: Decisions, decisions!!!

P.s sorry its an essay!
